Every few years, I check in with Joey and we talk about what I’m looking for and he sets out to find it. We always have plenty of time to find just what I need.
This time was quite the exception and as usual, Joey and his team delivered. I use my van to help run my business. I can’t go a day without it because it literally keeps things moving. Recently, I turned it into the shop for repairs not knowing that I would be told the cost of repair would exceed its value. I called Joey in a panic. I didn’t know how I could resolve this in a timely manner and with little down time to my business. I can’t believe it!! I called him last Monday and he had my new van ready for me to pick up on Friday. I couldn’t be more pleased.
As usual he gave me some options for financing and because it was used, he ran it through his usual system to make sure it was sound. It even had a minor nick on the bumper and he had it fixed. and just knew our Ford Flex would not meet the needs of our family. With a family of four and one dog, our Flex was busting at the seems when we traveled anywhere. I moved to Columbia last fall, newly engaged, planning the wedding and ecstatic about beginning my new dream job with Physical Therapy Specialists! 9 days after moving into my apartment, boxes still piled high, I walk outside to find my car STOLEN --- yes completely disappeared from the lot. With no car and days away from starting my job, Mr. Larry Lucas at State Farm handled my claim with compassion and expertise. He strongly recommended reaching out to AUTOMOTIVE ADVISOR. Mr. Joey Bouknight was out of town but got me in touch with Mr. Bobby Martin. I have never met a more sincere advisor -- he allowed me to peacefully transition into my life in Columbia while he completed extensive research, analyzed the options that fit my needs and desires, and maximized my budget. He literally brought the car to me and when I made the decision to purchase, he brought the paperwork to me organized and explained the entire process. No games -- just an advisor looking for the best option available for me, the client.
During the process, Mr. Martin even took the time to discuss the options with my now husband over the phone. My husband is the mechanical engineer so Mr. Martin answered the more technical questions from him. The SAGA continued when Mr. Martin went above and beyond, informing me that almost 90 days later my car was found and being held in the local police department. Without him, I would not have known that my car was not only stolen and used for attempted murder. Thanks be to God, I was safe and not involved or near the secondary case! A few months later, I was rear ended (yes, in my new Nissan) and Mr. Martin responded very quickly with advice on where to take the car to be fixed and was available if I needed further assistance.

Automotive Advisor works from another mutual friend. I contacted Bobby and told him what I was looking for, mainly a Civic with a manual transmission and within a few days Bobby had a view for me to look at via emails. I then challenged him with finding me a Honda Civic SI under a certain price and under a certain mileage and once again Bobby had something for me to look at with in a few days.
He found me an 07 in Atlanta GA and I liked it and he sent his driver down to get it for me. Bobby in the meantime contacted my loan officer and had all the paper work completed behind the scenes! This is where things get good about the Automotive Advisor and the quality of people that work with them. The driver got to Atlanta and said, something was "edgy" about the 07 Civic (which is a red flag to anyone) then called Bobby back and said the Dealer didn't have the title and would have the title sent to us. Well anyone who knows anything about dealers and cars you want to know that title is clean before anything and Bobby told his driver to come on home and we would keep looking. This meant the world to me, it showed that there are still businesses (Car Dealerships) out there who aren't out to get just the peoples money. Bobby, Thank You for caring as if you were purchasing the vehicle for yourself and not just out to get someones money on an "edgy" deal.
So at this point we were back to looking for another vehicle, once again, the Honda Civic SI and with in a week or so Bobby found me an 09 (2 years newer than the 07 and out the door was going to be the same price). Bobby did everything (the hassles of car buying) for me behind the scenes. He went out of his way to make sure I got what I was looking for and the quality of the Automotive Advisor is all about!! He emailed me the Carfax, pictures, and any information I asked about the vehicle and had it in SC with in 2 days (minus the weekend).
The car is fantastic and better than I expected once it got here. For an 2009 it is CLEANNNNN!! I want to think Bobby and everyone at The Automotive Advisor for taking quality of quantity and for absorbing ALL of the Hassles of car buying!
For your next car buying experience I definitely recommend The Automotive Advisor whether you're in a rush or not let the find the car you want!
